The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Fall is here! I can't believe how perfect the weather has been. Daytimes are somewhere around 8-90 degrees, and evenings are a chilly 50. It's just cool enough to wear jeans, but still warm enough to get away with a short sleeved shirt. We've got a few months of the gorgeous weather to look forward to.

I have to say, I will miss the seemingly endless afternoons spent have conscious beside one fabulous pool or another. This summer was so much fun. I got to spend time with a lot of good friends, and make some new ones. (see pictures) I look forward to what the winter has to bring. I'm considering heading up to New York for Christmas. I do so love that city in the winter, but not for more that four days at a time. (Sweet Jesus, it's punishment just to leave the hotel - but the shopping is worth it)

Those afternoons beside the pool were not without purpose. We spent many of them plotting out how best to spend our winter. Coming up first is the New Orleans Halloween trip. This trip is particularly fun for all involved. Consider, if you will, a city composed of people utterly obsessed with their creepy culture of drinking, shrimp and graveyards. I've never seen people put so much thought into their costumes. Very impressive. I'll be making a video again this year. Watch for it. You can see the current one on my website.
